BEAR is the nickname of Keylo Halbert. This name was given to Keylo when he was four years old and he was feeding a grizzly bear at Wildlife Images in Southern Oregon.
After Keylo committed suicide, Keylo’s mom and dad wanted to help put an end to teen suicides. With assistance from Keylo’s mom and dad, Chaplaincy Solutions, created BEAR4LIFE, also known as BEAR with Me, a program to help teens assist each other in mitigating teen suicide.
